For the love of coffee and community...and really really good food.

And did I mention coffee?

Whats with the name?

Brynmor is of Welsh origin meaning "large hill"

A special nod to Lacey's Welsh heritage. The meaning comes from a shared stoke by both Amy and Lacey for all things hilly and mountainous. This is afterall what brewed up the friendship that created this little Colorado Lovin Coffeeshop.

Lacey Cullum

In 2008 I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin. Thanks to Caroline Mrlik and Common Grounds Coffeehouse I got my first barista gig. For over ten years my now husband and I explored the country via van and rock climbing. Upon each return to Colorado I worked various odd jobs but always found my way back to “Shlupping Espresso” because I loved it! Not just the coffee but the community. After years of dreaming and scheming I can hardly believe this dream has become reality! I am so proud to call Lakewood Colorado home for my family as well as my business. A business that I hope will benefit the people who live and visit here for many years to come!

A special thanks to the many friends and family that have made this possible. I could not have done it without you nor would I have wanted to.

Amy Gounaris

In 2013 I moved from the east coast to Colorado for its mountains and rock climbing. Through work, I met Lacey and we continued to work together and climb together for most of the following 10 years. I’ve always enjoyed working with her so when she came to me with the idea of partnering to open our own coffee shop, after some thought, I decided to take the plunge. For the last year and a half, I’ve been working at a coffee shop to gain experience as a barista and a supervisor. Learning the ropes has been valuable but I think that interacting with the staff and the customers has been the most enjoyable part of working in a coffee shop. I have truly enjoyed getting to know so many young people and helping them learn work skills while still navigating everyday things such as school and their social life. I’ve also had many customers who I now consider friends. I love living in Lakewood and I’m looking forward to providing its residents and visitors with friendly service in a warm environment to make our shop the go-to coffee shop in the area. We are so grateful to our friends and family who believed in us and supported us in many different ways. Thanks to you all.
